Swansea City midfielder Nathan Dyer admits their inconsistency has been frustrating.
Dyer does not reckon that is down to manager Michael Laudrup tinkering with his team.
"It's not that hard because we all know the style and the philosophy of our play and our roles in it," he said. "We are training with each other - we know how to slot in and we can gel quickly.
"Our style helps us do that. It helps that anyone can come into the side and help the team.
"But there's still competition and everyone who comes off the bench or comes into the side gives it their all because you have to be on top form or you may not get a look in."
