Dyche the right man to lead buzzing Burnley - Banaszkiewicz

Sean Dyche is still the right man to lead the Burnley Football Club according to co-chairman John Banaszkiewicz.

The 43-year old, who took the reins at Turf Moor in October 2012, has got the Premier League season of the Clarets back on track with two wins and a draw from their past three outings.

There were some doubts lingering over Dyche's future after a winless run of 10 matches to kick off the campaign but Banaszkiewicz insists he is the man to continue the recent buzz that has come across east Lancashire.

"Sean was the outstanding candidate when we interviewed him two years ago," he told Sky Sports.

"He has been the catalyst that has helped create a united and strong squad. He has pushed out all the boundaries, and I am sure the recent wins will have given us added confidence."

Banaszkiewicz also made it clear that the club would not look to break their wage bill in a bid to keep themselves up in England's top flight.

"There is huge excitement at the club at being back in the Premier League, and a real buzz around the town," he added.

"But this is properly run club, and we don't want to go bust."
