Burnley manager Sean Dyche does believe the team will have a couple of signings in before the window closes.

Many fans are disappointed with the lack of transfer activity around the club.

But Dyche is aware of the financial realities surrounding the club, as they do not have a rich benefactor to help them in the market.

He does believe some moves will happen in the coming week.

"We've had a couple [transfers]," he said to the Lancashire Telegraph.

"Agents get a bit of stick, but I had one agent agree to take less in his fee to get a player here. That stood him in good stead with me as a person.

"I've a couple of players who have stayed here when people have tried to get them out. I've had agents who want players to come here because it's right for them. Eventually, money wins the day."
