Dyche aggrieved as ten-man Burnley fall to Olympiakos

Burnley have endured a setback in their Europa League dream after falling 3-1 to Olympiakos in the first leg of their fourth-round qualifying tie.

Chris Wood's penalty levelled the scores after 33 minutes before Andreas Bouchalakis restored the hosts lead shortly after half-time.

Ben Gibson was sent off for a questionable handball shortly after. Kostas Fortounis then bagged his second goal of the game to take a handy lead into the second-leg in England next weeek.

However, speaking after the game, Dyche felt as though the travelling Clarets fans hadn't witnessed a fair game.

"I feel for our fans, they've come a long way to see a balanced game and haven't seen that," Dyche said.

"Hopefully next week will be more even."

On Gibson's handball, Dyche said: "They miraculously...when one of our players goes to block the ball, it hits his hip then his hand, that's deemed a professional handball and he's sent off."
