Paulo Dybala's management are willing to discuss new terms with Palermo.
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has touted the striker to foreign clubs, including PSG, Arsenal and Manchester United, with a price-tag of €40 million.
However, Dybala informed Zamparini, via his agents, that he did not want to leave Italy this year. With his contract expiring in 2016, the Argentine's stance handed Zamparini an acute dilemma.
However, SportItalia says the player's agents are offering a compromise, involving a new contract which must include a buyout clause.
The get-out clause will be much less than Zamparini's €40 million valuation.
Inter Milan are watching developments, with Juventus and AS Roma in contact with Zamparini.
