Dutchman van't Schip remains frontrunner for Melbourne Heart

John van't Schip remains the frontrunner for the coaching job with incoming A-League franchise Melbourne Heart.

The 45-year old Dutchman is currently in Melbourne to meet with Heart officials indicating that he is an enormous chance to lead the club in its infancy.

"John is here as part of our process to find the right coach for the club," Heart chief executive Scott Munn told The Australian.

"He has not signed, but will be meeting the board over the next week."

van't Schip is a former coach if Dutch giant Ajax and was also capped 41 times for Holland at international level.
