Dutch pundit: No surprise Barcelona, Man City and Bayern Munich want Matthijs de Ligt

Dutch pundit Valentijn Driessen feels Ajax will struggle to keep hold of Matthijs de Ligt.

Driessen hailed the performance of the young defender in Ajax's 2-0 win over Feyenoord on Sunday.

He wrote for De Telegraaf: "It's no coincidence that his name is regularly linked to top clubs such as Barcelona, Manchester City and Bayern Munich and the same transfer dollars.

"He can be the first Ajax player in the summer since Wesley Sneijder (2007) and Daley Blind (2014), who as a self-taught player from Ajax and goes to the European elite and maintains himself there."

AD reports Bayern Munich had De Ligt scouted on Sunday.
