Dutch FA will shield Arsenal's Van Persie from contract questions

Holland will shield Arsenal captain Robin van Persie over his contract controversy.

The Telegraph says the Dutch Football Association have agreed to shield Van Persie from difficult questions about his future by controversially exempting the Arsenal captain from interviews while he is on international duty.

"We made a deal with Arsenal and he won't talk to the press," a spokesman for the Dutch Football Association, the KNVB, said.
