Premier League scouts are flocking to Durham to see a 12 year-old kid dubbed the 'new Wayne Rooney'.
Twelve-year-old James Moore has scored 87 goals in 26 games - the equivalent of a hat-trick every time he took to the field.
James, who plays for Durham Soccarena Lyon, is currently training with Middlesbrough and has had a session with Sunderland.
Despite his Northeast roots, James confesses an ambition to one day play for Liverpool.
James, of Rainton Gate, near Durham City, told the Durham Times: "I am really chuffed with the season.
"I want to be a professional footballer, if I can - but if I don't, I want a career in engineering.
"If Andy Carroll can make it to Liverpool from the North-East, then why can't I?"
