Aston Villa's Richard Dunne is facing an uncertain future after having a falling out with manager Gerard Houllier.
The 31-year old centre-half was stripped of the captaincy for Saturday's 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion after his confrontation with the Frenchman at training last week as well as heated words with assistant Gary McAllister.
Villa players are believed to be annoyed by having their old days off turned into fitness sessions under Robert Duverne and there are murmurings that other methods that Houllier uses, particularly banning mobile phones at the training ground, have the playing group at odds with him.
Reports also suggest that Dunne's behavior and form are worrying the former Liverpool boss, indicating that the defender's time at Villa Park may be coming to an end although it is unlikely as he has more than two years left on his current deal.
