Richard Dunne defended Aston Villa's performance for their 1-1 draw at Wolves.

Villa were flat on the day, but Dunne insists there was no lack of motivation inside the away dressing room.

Dunne admitted: "We have to make sure every game we play is a big game for us.

"We have to put in the same amount of effort whoever we play. It's disappointing. We've beaten Chelsea and you think to make that victory worthwhile you have to come to places like this and win games - and we haven't been able to.

"Our performance today was not great but we feel we are capable of playing any team and picking up points. People will say we're not up for it against teams like Wolves - well we are. Today was just an off day."
