Richard Dunne is delaying his move to Portsmouth.

The Manchester City defender wants talks with Mark Hughes, who is expected to leave Blackburn for the City job this week, before making a decision over his future.

The Daily Mail says Portsmouth believed they had stolen ahead of Spurs to land the Republic of Ireland defender.

Hughes is believed to be keen to keep Dunne, but only if he shows the necessary desire to stay.
