Manchester City skipper Richard Dunne is convinced more big names will soon be following Robinho to Eastlands.
He said: "I know we don't have a history of winning trophies like United, Arsenal and Liverpool but I believe that in the next five to 10 years it will be a regular occurrence.
"People might dismiss us now but eventually I can't see how it won't happen. The quality of players we have coming in, everything has to improve.
"People have been wondering why Robinho would want to sign for us.
"But in three or four years everyone will want to come here.
"Over the next couple of seasons this is going to be a club pushing for the Champions League and then challenging for the major trophies."
