Blackburn midfielder David Dunn has blasted fans from the Lancashire town who do not support Mark Hughes' side.

Rovers have struggled to fill Ewood Park so far this season - attracting just over 19,000 fans for each of their last three home Premier League matches.

And Dunn, who was brought up in the area, believes football fans should follow their local club and not be drawn to the glamour of England's leading sides.

"I am a big believer that if you are from Blackburn you should support Blackburn," he said.

"Forget Manchester United or Liverpool, you should follow Blackburn and see them play."
