Brazil coach Dunga has backed AC Milan's pursuit of Sao Paulo pair Hernanes and Joao Miranda.

"They want to sign Miranda and Hernanes?" said Dunga. "The first is a great defender. Plays with some authority and is quick. He cannot be beaten one against one. He has the quality that makes the difference.

"I have a soft spot for the second. He has the strength of Gattuso and the feet of Pirlo. Should be taken immediately."
