I ended up playing a few games, and after 10 days the Manager brought me into the office and said 'I like what I've seen, I'm very impressed and I'd like to sign you.'<p> "I'm working for Ian Brightwell and Asa Hartford, two ex-Manchester City men, but without the help of Jim Cassell, Alex Gibson, Paul Power, Steve Eyre and especially Robin Sadler at Carrington I wouldn't be where I am now. <p> "Macclesfield's Chief Executive said to me, 'Congratulations, you're a professional footballer again' a couple of days ago, and I'm the happiest man in the world right now."
