Dunfermline Athletic captain Scott Wilson is delighted with his deal with North Queensland Fury. He said: "I would have been off my head not to take up this opportunity.
"But right now all the focus is on trying to beat Aberdeen in the Cup and we are certainly capable of giving them a right good game."
Dunfermline chief John Yorkston last night challenged Wilson to head Down Under with two medals in his luggage.
He said: "Scott has been a great player for this club and a great servant.
"But he has unfinished business here and I'd like to see him get his hands on the First Division trophy and Scottish Cup. I'm greedy."
