Dundee Utd superkid Ryan Gauld starred in front of Man Utd chief scout Lawlor

Scotland U21 coach Billy Stark was delighted with Ryan Gauld's performance in their 1-1 draw with Georgia last week.

The 17 year-old Dundee United midfielder was watched by Manchester United chief scout Jim Lawlor on the night, along with representatives from Liverpool and Everton.

Stark said: "Ryan Gauld took to it like a duck to water. He was a young lad in there but you would never have known it. He certainly doesn't lack belief or confidence in himself, that's for sure. But I think, as he gets older, he will demand and dictate games. He skipped through the midfield and got us into some threatening positions."
