Andrew Robertson has been rewarded for his fine early-season form with Dundee United by receiving a call-up to the Scotland U21 team.
The left-back has been included in Billy Stark's squad for the first team and the boss is excited about seeing what he can do in upcoming European U21 Championship qualifiers against Slovakia and Georgia.
"He has hit the ground running and he has grasped the left-back position from the off," said Stark.
"In the first televised game against Partick Thistle he was impressive.
"We have been keeping an eye on him since then and he has been rewarded by getting in and it has been well-deserved."
Joining Robertson in the squad for the October 10 meeting with Slovakia at St Mirren Park and October 14 clash with Georgia in Tbilisi are Fulham's Jack Grimmer, Wigan Athletic's Fraser Fyvie and St Johnstone star Stevie May.
