Dundee United manager Jackie McNamara has been hit with a three-match touchline ban by the Scottish Football Association.
The Tangerines boss was involved in an argument with St Johnstone's Tommy Wright in a Scottish Premiership fixture on March 12 and has been found guilty of misconduct, which sees him sanctioned for three matches, with a further two suspended until the end of next season.
Unfortunately for United, McNamara will be forced to watch Saturday's Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers from the stands at Ibrox.
A Dundee United statement read: "The club is disappointed at this outcome, particularly as the manager was unable to attend the hearing in person. We will now consider whether to appeal."
