Dundee United manager Peter Houston insists he does not fear the sack amidst rumours his job is in danger.
Recent reports have suggested that Houston and chairman Steven Thompson were set to have crisis talks as the Arabs sit third bottom on the Scottish Premier League table but the United gaffer says he is not worried about his current position.
"I don't fear the sack. Trust me, I'm not scared. It's up to the club to decide what to do," he said.
"If it's the case that 'Houstie' faces the sack I'll accept that.
"If I put my record in front of anyone I'd have a good chance of getting another job elsewhere. But I'm concentrating on Saturday's game against Dunfermline."
He added: "I haven't spoken to the chairman but have read the reports in the papers. If I'm talking to him I will put forward the stats."
