Dundee United have said that nothing further has occurred in the transfer developments of striker David Goodwillie.
The 22-year old is being heavily linked with a move to Championship club Cardiff City with some reports suggesting a £2million deal was set to go through early this week after he completes a medical.
But United have come out and said that nothing further has happened in Goodwillie's case and for now he remains a Terrors player until further notice.
"In light of the recent continued speculation regarding the potential transfer of David Goodwillie, the club wish to make clear they will be making no further comment regarding this subject unless there are any developments to discuss," read a statement released by Dundee United.
"We would like to assure our supporters that should there be any change to the situation, we will keep them informed and issue a further statement."
