Dundee United boss Peter Houston has confirmed that the club is in discussions with others regarding striker David Goodwillie.

There has been plenty of interest in the 22-year old in recent times with Rangers, Blackpool and Cardiff City all keen on the Scotland international.

Houston revealed that chairman Stephen Thompson is talking to other clubs but nothing has yet been reached.

"The chairman has been speaking to a couple of clubs, but no agreement has been reached with anyone," said Houston.

Cardiff are believed to be winning the race for the £2millinio-rated forward who scored 14 goals in the Scottish Premier League last season.
