Dundee United young gun Scott Allan is set to hold talks with West Bromwich Albion today.
The 20-year old midfielder has been the subject of interest from the likes of West Brom, Wigan Athletic and Rangers but is on the verge of joining the Baggies who agreed a £400,000 fee for him in December with the reigning Scottish champions pulling out of the race for his signature.
Reports suggests that 'Gers Old Firm rivals Celtic could still come in with a counter offer but he could quite as well end up at The Hawthorns although agent John Viola is keeping the door ajar for anything to occur.
"Anything can happen in the next 24 hours," he said.
