Dundee United to refuse Rangers tickets of no money up front

Dundee United will forgo giving Rangers their allocation of away tickets for next month's league clash if they don't have the money to pay for them.

The Tangerines lost £100,000 from last week's Scottish Cup fixture at Ibrox after the Glasgow giants fell into administration and were not able to pay and they do not want to miss out on the cash they will be owed for the March 17 meeting at Tannadice Park.

United contacted 'Gers just prior to the reigning champions entering administration on Tuesday saying they want full payment for away tickets up front before the match or they will not give out the allocation for visiting fans.
