Derby County appear to have beaten off competition from Celtic for Johnny Russell.

The Rams and Terrors have agreed a fee for the 23-year old striker according to his football consultant Jim Sherry of Viola FC.

"The fee between Derby and Dundee United has been agreed, as have Johnny's terms," he said.

"Johnny will now make his decision based on whether Derby is the right club for his future."
