Dundee manager John Brown was left to ponder what might have been after his side's 1-0 loss to Inverness in the third round of the Scottish League Cup on Tuesday night.
The Dees dominated proceedings at Dens Park Stadium but came up short as Billy McKay netted the only goal of the contest in the 11th minute which disappointed 'Bomber' who was full of praise for heroic Caley keeper Dean Brill.
"Inverness have been the form team this season but we were the better team tonight," he said.
"We just have to start taking our chances.
"That has let us down this season but tonight they had a goalkeeper that was unplayable. You couldn't get anything by him."
