Hull City chairman Paul Duffen says their off-field priority is to build a new academy.
Duffen told the Hull Daily Mail: "Right now, my absolute burning ambition is to prioritise creating a unified training ground and academy on a 25 to 30-acre site.
"It will be a platform to properly invest in a structure that will feed this football club in many ways in the future.
"We've got an active brief with a team of professionals who are identifying sites and looking at planning issues at the moment.
"A best of class training ground and academy is a much bigger priority than touching the capacity of the KC Stadium."
