Burnley defender Michael Duff was relieved to have his red card rescinded ahead of the important relegation clash against Hull City on Saturday.
The 37-year old defender was shown a red card after giving away the penalty that gave West Ham United a 1-0 victory last time out and is now available for the do-or-die clash with the Tigers.
Duff said: "I was frustrated with myself for making a bad decision and giving the penalty away but it was much more of a surprise when the red card came my way.
"Thankfully it has been rescinded and I am available to play this weekend.
"It was a blow playing that length of time with 10 men but it's ifs, buts and maybes. We'll never know what would have happened so we just move on."
A defeat this weekend confirm the Clarets' relegation to the Championship but the Lancashire club still have a chance of survival if they can overcome the Tigers.
