Damien Duff is full of praise for manager Joe Kinnear over Newcastle United's climb up the table.

Duff confessed he had a lot of time for Kinnear, an Eire player from a different generation.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "Results speak for themselves. It has been confirmed that Joe will be here until the end of the season.

"Credit to Joe - I hope he lets the results do the talking."
