Damien Duff has full confidence that Fulham can reach the semi-finals of the Europa League after edging past Wolfsburg 2-1 in the quarter-final first leg.
The Cottagers had control of the match until the final minute when Alexander Madlung scored from close range to take some gloss off the earlier goals netted by Duff and Bobby Zamora but the Republic of Ireland international says it could be enough to get them into the final four of the competition.
"After the second goal we took our foot off the pedal and got a bit sloppy," the Republic of Ireland international said.
"They nicked the away goal which can be crucial, but we always back ourselves to score a goal over there. It's not a bad result and we can look forward to next Thursday (return leg in Germany)."
