Dudek can't see Chelsea target Morata surviving at Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek can see Alvaro Morata soon moving on.

Dudek has questioned whether Morata has the mentality to handle the pressure of playing for Real.

"Morata showed great talent in Turin, played in the final of the Champions League, but since his return to Madrid is a shadow of himself," he told Wyborcza. "I do not know if he has enough class and character to do great things in the club of his heart."

Just last month, Morata revealed Chelsea failed with an August summer bid for him.

Antonio Conte had already signed me for Juventus and it would have been a very good offer this time – I would have been the most expensive Spanish player ever.

“They offered roughly €70m, but Real Madrid said they had me in their plans and that was always my dream."
