Didier Drogba wants to prove his fitness at Chelsea before considering a new contract.

He said: "I made my decision to stay before last season's Champions League final.

"At a certain time I had wanted to leave but you can change your mind, can't you?

"Do Chelsea want to keep me until 2010? I'm just focused on my health and trying to get back to my best before talking about an extension.

"I want to belong to the club's history and not leave for Italy or Spain."
