Drogba hoping Arsenal target Cech remains at Chelsea

Didier Drogba believes Chelsea should keep Petr Cech at the club.

The 33-year old goalkeeper is being linked with a summer departure at Stamford Bridge with the likes of Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid being touted as possible destinations.

But veteran striker Drogba, who is preparing to leave the west London club, feels Cech is such an immense name at Chelsea that he should stay with the Premier League champions.

"I think the club should keep him because we know who Petr Cech is at this club," Drogba said.

"No matter what happens I think the club will respect his decision. If he wants to stay, he can stay. I think he is more than welcome here.

"If he wants to go it's his choice as well. It's up to him. But we want him to stay."
