Didier Drogba has hailed the impact at Chelsea of summer signing Juan Mata.

Mata was named man of the match for victory at Newcastle United.

"It is very difficult to come from a different league and a league that is more technical," Drogba told chelseafc.com, "but Juan has been able to come here where the game is a bit more physical but defenders are also good players and we are happy to have him in our squad.

"He has made a difference every game and we need him, he is one of the key players."
