Didier Drogba has again declared he wants Nicolas Anelka to play alongside him for Chelsea in tomorrow night's Champions League final against Manchester United.
"He opened the way. He is an example for us, who come from France and who were dreaming of one day having a career in the Premier League. Today, I feel like I can see myself in him, in the way he prepares for high level games, in his intention to never give up.
"I am just disappointed not to be able to play with him up front for Chelsea. But as soon as it happens, it is a blow for the opposition defences. I can see anxiety in the defenders' eyes.
"Let's hope this will happen on Wednesday for the Champions League final against Manchester United. I am serene. I do not know why, but this encounter does not scare me.
"If we fail, it will be a major black hole in my career. Because it would be the first time I haven't won silverware with Chelsea!"
