The Sunday Mirror says Chelsea are looking to sign as many as five players to strengthen their squad and are already paving the way to off-load some of their current stars.

The current stars under immediate threat of heading out of the Stamford Bridge exit include twin strikers Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka plus the likes of John Obi Mikel, Yuri Zhirkov, Florent Malouda, Paulo Ferreira and Yossi Benayoun.

Abramovich has big plans for a major summer overhaul of their flagging squad.
