QPR and Reading have failed with bids for Royston Drenthe.
The Sun says ex-Everton winger Drenthe will snub a Premier League return to join Russian outfit Alania Vladikavkaz.
Drenthe, 25, who spent last term on loan at Goodison, was linked with QPR and Reading.
