City and Liverpool played out an enthralling Premier League encounter and at the end, the two teams had to be content with a share of the spoils as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
It has to be said that both City and Liverpool had wonderful chances to claim the victory on the day but following the game, Reds left-back Milner, who scored from the penalty spot, has stated that the two sides could not have any complaints regarding the final result.
Milner told Sky Sports: "Both teams went for it. I am sure it was good for the neutrals to watch.
"We are disappointed that when we have been up we have not got three points.
"A draw was fair in the end. They are such a good team. They've got runners everywhere, they're all sharp.
"It is not the easiest of days coming here. We can't be too disappointed with a point."
