The United Soccer Leagues have announced the 2009 PDL Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup (U.S Version of the F.A Cup) qualifying schedule.
A total of 122 regular season matches will count towards qualifying for the 2009 Open Cup.
Qualifying opens on the weekend of May 1-3 with eight matches in the Eastern, Southern and Western Conferences. Two Western Conference matches will kick off qualifying, as Fresno visits San Fernando Valley, and Ventura County hosts Bakersfield on May 1. The Central Conference’s first match is on May 9. The all important final stretch of qualifying will feature 38 matches from May 21-25.

Winners of the Second Round join Columbus, Houston, Chicago, New England, Chivas USA, and Kansas City in the 2009 U.S. Open Cup.
