DR Congo star Tresor Mputu is wanted by Arsenal.
The Daily Star says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is prepared to cough up £500,000 to land Mputu from DR Congo's TP Mazembe.
Mputu, 21, has scored five goals in just ten internationals.
