Kevin Doyle has urged his former Reading teammate James Harper to join him at Wolves.
"He's asked me about the club and I can only say good things to him," said Doyle.
"You can't ask for a better training ground or better facilities, there's no reason for anyone to turn down Wolves. I've no idea what's happening, but it would be nice to have him here."
Doyle believes signing Harper would only boost Wolves' chances of survival.
"I think he'd be an asset for any Premier League team," said the Republic of Ireland international. "We've got very good midfielders here, but he's a very good player and he'd add to an already very competitive midfield.
"He played very well when we were in the Premier League with Reading and if we did sign him, he'd add more experience.
"He's an all-rounder, he can dig in and he can pass it and score goals."
