Kevin Doyle is counting on Wolves buying this summer.
He is hopeful that a third top flight season does offer the possibility for Wolves to become more established in the Premier League, but is again mindful that survival will be the initial ambition.
"It gives the club another chance to build and progress," he explains to the Wolves website.
"It's another year of money for the club to improve and get the squad even better.
"The first season you are running a lot of adrenalin and it helps get you through it.
"And we didn't have second season syndrome because we finished with more points than the first!
"Thankfully it was just about enough!
