Middlesbrough winger Stewart Downing has put pen-to-paper on a new five-year deal at the club.
Downing agreed the new contract earlier this month and he has now signed the extension.
Boro have been locked in talks with Downing for some time as they look to tie down their prize asset.
The news ends speculation over his future after he was continually linked with a move away from the club during the last few months.
The new deal will see Downing stay at Boro until 2013 and is a massive boost to boss Gareth Southgate ahead of Wednesday's FA Cup replay with Sheffield United.
