Dowie, Leeds boss Grayson in frame for Burnley job

Three lower league managers are being lined up by Burnley to succeed Owen Coyle.

The Sun says Coyle's decision to join Bolton Wanderers has come as a big surprise to the Turf Moor board as they were confident of keeping him.

Burnley have begun to make plans for a new manager with Blackpool's Ian Holloway, Swansea boss Paolo Sousa and Leeds chief Simon Grayson in their sights.
