A host of big names are being linked with the vacant Toronto FC coaching position.

Former Northern Ireland international Iain Dowie, who has coached the likes of Newcastle United, QPR and Hull City, ex-Italy internationals Franco Baresi and Roberto Donadoni and recently sacked Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz have all been linked with the job following the axing of Preki Radosavljevic which occurred in September.

Canadian sports channel Rogers Sportsnet revealed that the above names have applied for the vacancy ahead of the 2011 MLS season.
