Douglas Costa has agreed a move with Shakhtar Donetsk - though still admits he dreams of joining Manchester United.
The 19-year-old - dubbed the 'New Ronaldinho' - has left Gremio for UEFA Cup holders Shakhtar Donetsk in a £5.8million deal.
And despite signing a five-year contract, the playmaker has stunned his new employers by admitting he could be off to a bigger club within 12 months.
"I won't stay at Shakhtar for a lifetime, but for one or two years," he said before leaving Porto Alegre en route to Donetsk. "The plan is for this to be a stepping stone to reaching my goal, which is to play for a big club in Europe."
The Daily Mail says the midfielder remains a target for United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Douglas Costa had been tracked by United for more than a year, but the Barclays Premier League champions went cold on a deal, in part because of doubts about his motivation and off-the-pitch behaviour.
