Doubts over future of Leeds boss Warnock

Leeds manager Neil Warnock is reported to be unhappy at the club's inability to raise enough money to sign Joel Ward from Portsmouth or any of his other summer transfer targets.

Leeds manager Neil Warnock is reported to be unhappy at the club's inability to raise enough money to sign Joel Ward from Portsmouth or any of his other summer transfer targets.

Leeds have also admitted that they were in talks with a mystery American consortium but have released no statement since and fans are growing increasingly frustrated at the perceived lack of progress.

Warnock, who wanted at least two more new signings completed before he went on holiday last month, told the club's official website: "The main thing I'm concentrating on is the squad and what we can do to strengthen.

"I know what I'm looking to achieve before the start of the season to give us the best opportunity of finishing as high as we can and that process is ongoing."
