Giovani Dos Santos has claimed he will be playing for Spurs next season.
The 19-year-old told reporters after a friendly between Argentina and Mexico he had agreed to move to White Hart Lane after snubbing Manchester City.
Barcelona and Tottenham are reported to have agreed an initial fee of £4.7million for a player who was considered to be one of the hottest prospects at the Nou Camp just two years ago.
That figure may rise to £7.9million depending on clauses in his contract, but the news will be a huge boost for the North London club.
He is quoted in Sport saying: "Next season I will be playing for Tottenham."
