Graham Dorrans is ready to fight for his place in Norwich City's midfield.
Dorrans played the full 90 minutes in the Canaries' first tour match against Maccabi Haifa – and he intends to keep it that way despite intense rivalry.
“Competition for places in midfield is fierce but frankly in the Premier League you need that because it is a tough league," he told the Pink 'Un. “The schedule is gruelling, we need a big squad, it's good, it's healthy and it keeps everyone on their toes and pushing hard. I don't see that as a bad thing.
“This is the league everyone wants to play. Of course it is. You want to test yourself in the highest level possible and the Premier League is one of the biggest in the world. The squad is buzzing and in good spirits because of the way we finished the season and we can hopefully take that into this season."
